Trinity College

September

"Clutter" is probably the first word that comes to mind upon entering the CSC these days. With the clock ticking down, work roars ahead and a thousand little things remain to be done. Workers dash from one task to the next as they turn the clutter into a skating facility. "It's always crazy when you finish up one of these jobs," said one.

Perhaps the most noticeable change is the installation of the boards and glass around the rink area. But seating is also in place; cabinets and other millwork are ready to go in the community rooms; lockers are up; painting is almost complete—everyday the CSC gets a little closer to completion.

The main entrance on New Britain Avenue is almost complete.

The east side of the building. Note the curb stones in place and ready for landscaping.

Putting Trinity's name up   Glass and boards

Painters make sure visiting teams won't forget whose house they are in.

Although building material is still piled on the rink, the boards and glass are up and ready for action.

Clutter on the rink   Clutter in the lobby

No ice yet, but the rink awaits skaters.

Seats in the main lobby are covered to protect them from stray paint drops.

Lockers   Seats

Lockers have been installed. Note that the one on the left is wider to accommodate a goaltender's equipment.

Newly installed seating.
