Trinity College

February

Throughout January, the construction crew used a crane to move the massive girders into place for the steel framework.  Now visiters can actually see the structure rising over neighboring buildings well before arriving at the site.  In addition, utilities service is complete; water and electrical lines have been brought to the building.

In the coming weeks, workers will finish the steel framework, put a roof overhead, finish plumbing within the building's footprint, and pour the slab for the floor.

Future ice.   Future visiting lockers

Standing inside the framework, one can see the huge girders that will soon support the structure's roof.

A view looking towards New Britain Avenue on the east side of the building shows where the visitors' locker rooms will one day be.

This view, from New Britain Avenue looking south, shows what will soon be the front of the CSC.
