Trinity College

May

In early May, Athletic Director Rick Hazelton P'92, '93, '99 took Dean of Students Fred Alford P'04 and Vice President for Alumni Relations and Communications Kathi O'Connor Boelhouwer '85 on a quick tour of the CSC construction site. Joining them were Men's Head Coach John Dunham, Women's Head Coach Andy McPhee, and Men's Assistant Coach Dave Cataruzolo.

Hazelton proudly pointed out the tremendous progress that has been made in just the last month. Workers have poured much of the concrete slab for the floor. All that remains is the area under the rink itself, which will be poured once the heavy work is complete and trucks and other machinery no longer need to come into the building. In addition, support structures for the bleachers are in place and wall studs now mark where community rooms and coach's offices will be.

Supports wait for bleachers to be installed. Note the curve of the concrete in the foreground, which shows where the rink will be.

The view from New Britain Avenue shows there is still some grey exterior finish to be put up.
