Trinity College

January

Things are looking up!  After spending three months focused on the ground as they worked exclusively on the foundation, construction workers at the CSC site are getting a new perspective on things.  In late December, the steel frame began to take shape.  As of the first week in January, steel work for the south and east sides of the building was in place.

Work also continues to bring water and other utilities to the building.  Once that is complete the concrete slabs for the floor will be laid.

CSC going up!   Summit Tower

The steel framing for the south and east sides of the CSC are in place.

Summit Tower can be seen to the north through the girder work.  In a few months, after the walls are in place, this view will be gone.

Installing girder   Sky skeleton

Workers attach a girder between two uprights.  This new girder will provide stability.  In addition, the facing will be attached to these cross pieces.
