Koeppel Community Sports Center

Trinity College

December

As December began, work picked up on the Community Sports Complex, prompting one worker to comment enthusiastically, "Now, it's really starting to look like a construction site!"

The foundation nearly complete, a wider range of activity is beginning to take place.  Before the floor slab can be poured, electrical, water, and other utility service must be laid.  That process began with workers running the water main which will connect the CSC to the city water supply.

Underground supports in place.   Pouring concrete

One set of the cross braces that will run underground to help support the building.  Here the braces are in position, waiting to be hooked together.

Workers pour concrete to encase the finished cross braces.  The light snow which fell over the first weekend in December did not slow things down a bit.
