Cranes and back hoes long gone, the smell of fresh paint has replaced diesel fumes as CSC construction comes out of the final turn and into the stretch. While there is still much to accomplish, the heavy work is largely done and most of what is happening now is what might happen in a home: painting, spackling, and installing light fixtures. That's not to say a few big jobs do not still remain. Concrete floors are to be poured in the entry areas and the boards around the rink are still to be installed, for example.
As Trinity prepares for the return of students, the College is happy to announce that Rich Pettit has been hired as facility manager for the CSC. Rich is already on the job and no doubt looking forward to the sound of skates slashing across the ice. For now he is bringing his wealth of experience to bear helping to oversee the last stages of construction.

Early one recent morning, President James F. Jones Jr. stopped by to check on progress. Still in his work out togs, Jones appeared ready to lace up some skates and hit the ice.
