Participation in clubs and organizations gives students the chance to get together in an atmosphere of common interest, while offering opportunities for expanding and strengthening social and intellectual camaraderie. At Trinity there are plenty of options for taking part in organized activities outside the classroom.
The College embraces its role as a committed member of the Hartford community by supporting and encouraging campus organizations whose members are committed to public service. Important initiatives ranging from the Adolescent Mentoring Program to Students to Unite the Sciences and Humanitarian Interests (SUSHI) enable our students to make a significant difference in the world beyond Trinity.
Our campus is home to numerous social and cultural organizations, including Hillel, the Newman Club, La Voz Latina, the Asian American Student Association (AASA), and Imani, the Black Students organization. Several musical groups, such as the a cappella singers After Dark, The Accidentals and The Trinitones, perform regularly on campus. All of the many student-run organizations, whether cultural, civic engagement or special interest-oriented, are valued members of the campus community and add a positive and meaningful spirit to the Trinity experience.
