The Zachs Hillel House is a striking symbol of the vibrant Jewish life at Trinity. The 8,000 square-foot facility boasts a large multi-function space for prayer, lectures, and other gatherings, a complete kosher kitchen, a large dining room, a library, a recreational area, a living room, and several smaller meeting rooms.

Since its dedication in May of 2002, the Zachs Hillel House has become a thriving center  for Jewish cultural and social events, lectures, religious services, and kosher meals. The $2.8 million facility, made possible through the generosity of Henry Zachs ’56 and family, is a part of the cultural hub of the College and also a powerful demonstration of the importance of Jewish life at Trinity.

We marked the tenth anniversary of the Zachs Hillel House during the 2011-2012 academic year. Click on the links for photos and information about our celebrations in Hartford and New York City.

The Zachs Hillel House is a welcoming and friendly place to all students, regardless of religious affiliation. Hillel-goers often bring friends to relax, study, and to participate in Hillel activites. If you visit campus please stop by!
