The Zachs Hillel House is a striking symbol of the vibrant Jewish life at Trinity. The 8,000 square-foot facility boasts a large multi-function space for prayer, lectures, and other gatherings, a complete kosher kitchen, a large dining room, a library, a recreational area, a living room, and several smaller meeting rooms.
Since its dedication in May of 2002, the Zachs Hillel House has quickly become a thriving center for Jewish cultural and social events, lectures, religious services, and kosher meals. The $2.8 million facility, made possible through the generosity of Henry Zachs ’56 and his wife, Judith, is not only the newest addition to the cultural hub of the College, but also a powerful demonstration of the importance of Jewish life at Trinity.
Zachs Hillel House is an welcoming and friendly place to all students, regardless of religious affiliation. Hillel-goers often bring friends and other "hang-ers-on" to relax, study, and to participate in Hillel activites. If you visit campus please stop by! We'd love to meet you.
