Trinity College Gospel Church
Mirroring the tradition of gospel music and the Black church, the Gospel Church at Trinity College is open to, and ministers to, all students on campus. Its aim is to link the religious elements of the gospel tradition with a particular cultural or social identity as it is found among African-Americans. A lively and growing group, the Gospel Church is centered in the music and activities of the Trinity Gospel Choir, whose music forms the core of the group’s weekly worship.

The group meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m., in the Alumni Lounge
at Mather Hall, beginning with prayer and including Bible readings, musical praise,
rehearsal of the Gospel Choir, and concluding prayer. The adviser to the Gospel Church, advises the group on spiritual and pastoral matters and is available to all members of the Trinity community for counsel and conversation.
