Trinity College Organist John Rose has performed in forty-four of the United States and in nine other countries on four continents. Performances at home have included Orchestra Hall in Chicago, Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Bushnell Hall in Hartford, and the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. Performance venues abroad have included Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral in London, Morelia Cathedral in Mexico and Town Hall in Melbourne, Australia. This past season he performed at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and The International Organ Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Since 1977 Mr. Rose has been College Organist and Director of Chapel Music at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut where he also directs The trinity College Chapel Singers. Before coming to Trinity spent nine years as Organist and Music Director at Sacred Heart Cathedral Basilica in Newark, New Jersey. Among several noted composers who have dedicated works to him is Malcolm Williamson, Master of the Queen's Music to H.M. Elizabeth II of Great Britain, American composer Robert Edward Smith, Trinity College Chapel composer in residence, and the late American composer, Louie White. David Maker, Interim Carillonneur
David Maker took his first carillon lessons at Trinity in 1995. His teachers have been Daniel Kehoe, Sally Slade Warner, and most recently Frans Haagen and Henk Verhoef at the Netherlands Carillon School. Mr. Maker has concertized extensively in the eastern U.S., the Netherlands, and Portugal. His compositions for carillon are published by American Carillon Music Editions. His “adapted change ringing” for carillon has generated much interest here and abroad.
Mr. Maker is Associate Head of the Music Department at the University of Connecticut. He teaches Music Theory there and was long-time Director of the UConn Marching Band and Concert Band. He has been playing the Austin Cornelius Dunham Carillon at UConn since 1994. Now he is eager to introduce Trinity Chapel’s world-class bells to all interested students.

Robert Edward Smith has been Trinity College Chapel composer in residence since 1979. Mr. Smith is a widely published composer of choral and instrumental works. A substantial number of his choral compositions have been commissioned by the college and first performed by The Trinity College Chapel Singers. In addition to his work as a composer, Mr. Smith is also a widely acclaimed concert harpsichordist. He has recorded for both the Wild Boar and Towerhill labels.

Lisa Kassow – Director Trinity Hillel
Lisa Pleskow Kassow lived in Jerusalem, Israel from 1978-1990, where she was a photojournalist. Kassow returned to Trinity College as the first full-time Hillel director in 2000, a post she held part-time in 1992. Between 1994-2000 Kassow worked at the Greater Hartford Jewish Community Center (JCC) in West Hartford, Connecticut. During her tenure at the JCC, Kassow directed adult education and later assumed the post of director of arts, culture, and education. Kassow founded and for five years was the Director of the Hartford Jewish Film Festival, a program that Trinity co-sponsors. Kassow holds a BFA in art from Carnegie-Mellon University and is a graduate of the Beit Midrash program in West Hartford, Connecticut.

The Reverend Michael J. Dolan was ordained for the Archdiocese of Hartford in 1996. He was graduated from Assumption College with a B.A. in History and earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Saint John Seminary with studies at Weston School of Theology, Boston College, Hartt School of Music and the Christian-Muslim Relations Program at Hartford Seminary. Father Dolan has ministered at Iglesia Sanctissimo Sacramento in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven, Connecticut, St.George Church in Guilford, St. Mary Church, Newington and as Priest Director of its parish school, as well as an Archdiocesan Master of Ceremonies, Tribunal Instructor and provided pastoral care at Cedar Crest Psychiatric Hospital located in Newington. He is the Director of Campus Ministry for the Archdiocese of Hartford and Vocation Director.
