How to Submit Your Fall Course Selection Form

  1. You will submit online your course selections from your worksheet between June 16 and June 30.  You will access the online form (available June 16) by logging on to your Starting Out task list and clicking on “Fall Course Selection.”
  2. If you have been invited to participate in a Gateway Program, click the button next to the appropriate option. Students who have accepted an invitation to one of these programs will NOT select a first-year seminar.
  3. If you will be enrolling in a first-year seminar, use the drop-down button to select your five seminar choices. Use the icons at the right end of the seminar detail line (the up and down arrows) to move the order of your preferences around or (X) to delete a course. Then you may select a new course.
  4. Follow the same procedure for your other courses. Select preferred courses and five alternate courses as indicated on your form.
  5. You may exit the course selection form page and come back as often as you like to edit your selections up until June 30. Your entries will remain on the page, and you can edit them until you click on “Submit your selections.” You should not submit your selections until you are completely satisfied with your courses. Once you have submitted your selections, no other changes can be made.
  6. You will not be able to “Submit your selections” until the required number of courses have been selected.
