Intramural Sports

First-year Students: The Intramural Sports Program for first-year students is set-up as a yearlong competition based on points for participation, sportsmanship and game results.   The competition is structured through residence halls with sports offered in Blue and Gold divisions.  Each hall has an Intramural Ambassador responsible for signing up teams and organizing members to play in the different events. Sports offered are as varied as Tug-Of-War and Inner Tube Water Polo.  Participation in exercise classes such as Zumba will also be incorporated into the point based competition.   The residence hall with the highest point total will hoist the Trinity College First Year Intramural Sports Champion Cup.

Upper-year: Upper-year students will compete in various men’s, women’s and co-ed sports with a champion for each sport  All students are invited to participate whether with their residence or with a group of friends.  As with first-year students, there will be two offerings for most sports; Blue and Gold.  Team captains and Intramural Ambassadors enter teams through the  website

Blue Division: For the competitive sports person with experience.

Gold Division: All the same sports, but a little less competitive.
