Allergies are back with the nice weather.  If you are suffering from allergies please try over the counter medications like Loratidine to get some relief.  Allergies can also aggravate Asthma.  If you feel your Asthma needs some attention, please call and schedule an appointment at 860-297-2018.

We provide clinical services during the academic year, when residence halls are open.  So that we can serve you more efficiently, please call ahead at 297-2018 to schedule an appointment.  In most cases, students are seen the day of their call.  Clinic hours are M-F: 8:30-5:00 & Sat: 12-5.

Appointments Available: Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM 
                                 Saturday:12:00 Noon to 4:30 PM 
                                 Sunday: Closed 

Walk-Ins are accommodated into the next available appointment of the day, or triaged, and referred off campus to local health care providers.

The Trinity College Health Center (TCHC) is a licensed Outpatient Clinic located in Wheaton Hall at the south end of campus.  The Health Center offers primary care services by a staff of Nurse Practitioners who work in collaboration with a team of physicians from Hartford Hospital.  Referrals to outside specialists can be made through the Health Center.

Services include:

  • The diagnosis and treatment of common health problems (i.e. colds, sore throat, headache, bronchitis, asthma, abdominal pain, urinary tract infection, sexually transmitted infection (STI), menstrual problems, etc.)  
  • Physical and gynecological exams
  • Laboratory and other diagnostic services
  • Contraception counseling and prescription including emergency contraception (i.e., "the morning-after pill")
  • Confidential testing for HIV, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, or chlamydia 
  • Prescription delivery services through Arrow Pharmacy.
  • Allergy shots 
  • Registered dietician (by appt.)
