Trinity College Health Center hours are:

·         Monday through Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

·         Saturday: 12 Noon – 5:00 PM

·         Sunday: Closed

 

For after-hours assistance, call Campus Safety (860-297-2222) to reach the Nurse Practitioner on-call.

 

For after hours emergencies, call Campus Safety (860-297-2222) to reach TCERT.

 

So that we can serve you more efficiently, please call to schedule an appointment (860) 297-2018.  In most cases, students are seen the day of their call.

 

Walk-Ins are not seen unless it is a medical emergency; instead Walk-ins are accommodated into the next available appointment of the day, or triaged and referred off campus to local health care providers.

The Trinity College Health Center (TCHC) is a licensed Outpatient Clinic located in Wheaton Hall at the south end of campus.  The Health Center offers primary care services by a staff of Nurse Practitioners who work in collaboration with an Emergency Medicine physician.  Referrals to outside specialists can be made through the Health Center.

 

  Services include:

  • The diagnosis and treatment of common health problems such as:
    • colds
    • sore throats
    • headaches
    • bronchitis
    • asthma
    • abdominal pain
    • urinary tract infections
    • sexually transmitted diseases (STD)
    • menstrual problems, etc.
  • Physicals and gynecological exams
  • Laboratory and other diagnostic services
  • Contraception counseling and prescription including emergency contraception (i.e., "the morning-after pill")
  • Confidential testing for HIV, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea, or chlamydia 
  • Prescription delivery services through Arrow Pharmacy
  • Allergy shots
