First-Year Orientation
Orientation for All First-Year Students


All students in the Class of 2012 must participate in the official
Check-In and First-Year Orientation. This includes students who
arrive early for athletic team trials, Quest, and P.R.I.D.E. Welcome Weekend. An outline of the Orientation Program can be viewed here.

During Orientation, you and your classmates will take part in two of
Trinity College
's oldest and most revered traditions, Matriculation
and the Book Signing ceremony.

P.R.I.D.E. Welcome Weekend
(Promoting Respect for Inclusive Diversity in Education)

Students participating in the P.R.I.D.E. Welcome Weekend will arrive
on campus prior to the Orientation programs.


International Student Orientation

Both first-year and exchange international students participate in
P.R.I.D.E. and the First-Year Orientation. In addition, sessions are planned to meet the particular needs of international students, including a shopping trip for dormitory room needs and, most importantly, immigration law training.
