Contact: Dean Card X2158, x2156, or
christopher.card@trincoll.edu

Trinity’s Pre-Orientation Programs are elective, early-arrival, small group programs that allow incoming students to meet other new students while exploring a topic of common interest. The Pre-Orientation programs:

- Provide an opportunity for new students to meet and interact with returning students, faculty, and staff members who share their interest

- Offer new students an opportunity to meet key administrators as well as discover resources on campus and in the greater Hartford community that may be important to their success

- Provide an opportunity for students to live and learn in a diverse community To offer students the best opportunity to get to know one another and make the most of this learning experience, program size is limited. Enrollment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a cost for participating in a Pre-Orientation Program. Programs available to entering First-Year students this fall include:

- Camping with a Twist: Science on the Trail

- Community Service Program

- Diversity Orientation: Trinity Style!

- Hartford Parks and Bikes

- Outdoor Orientation Adventure

- Exploring the Arts and Creativity

- Two Days In, On, and Around the Connecticut River

- Spirit of the City The elective Pre-Orientation program occurs before the two-day First-Year Orientation program that is required of all incoming students.
