Trinity students now have access to a groundbreaking new addition to the OptimalResume family, the OptimalLetter Builder. With this tool, you can create your own cover letters from scratch, and download them into four convenient formats: Microsoft Word Compatible, .PDF, Plain Text, and HTML. There are lots of instructions and examples all served up on a paragraph by paragraph basis. In addition, any letters you create can be made viewable on your OptimalResume website, providing employers with a dynamic new interface with which to view your documents.

If you are new to writing cover letters, the Letter Builder provides useful hints to help you every step of the way. Through an easy-to-use self-assessment grid, you can analyze your personal, academic, and work experience and identify distinguishing attributes and experiences. OptimalAssessment uses hundreds of examples to help you get you thinking about your own skills and experiences, and how they can be made relevant.

Get a jumpstart on preparing for your career by using OptimalAssessment to create a dialogue with your counselor. You can submit your self-assessment link to counselors via the innovative Review Center, which you can use to message online about strengths and weakness, career options, and more.

OPTIMAL INTERVIEW

Ace your next interview with the OptimalInterview state-of-the-art interview preparation system! Practice your interviewing skills with real-to-life, multi-media interview scenarios that were developed by seasoned employment professionals to prepare them for even the toughest of interviews.

With OptimalInterview, you are in full control of your interview practice session. Choose the length of the practice session, the type of interview, and the questions to be asked. Pick from among different interviewers, each exhibiting different attitudes and personalities. Basic interview types include the screening interview, behavioral interview, hiring manager interview, tag team panel interview, and final interview.

You can even get feedback on your interview progress by sharing the link to your recorded practice session. Career counselors, mentors, peers or parents will be able to coach you on your progress until you are fully prepared to give the interview your best shot.
