Capital Consortium

What? The Capital Consortium is an off-campus recruiting event that offers Seniors the opportunity to interview with DC's top employers in Education, Finance, Government, Legal Services and more.  In the past, Capital One, the Department of Justice, American Enterprise Institute, and the Urban Institute have all interviewed and hired students.  To find out more about this event, attend one of the CAPCON Information Sessions!

When?  TBA (The event typically occurs in early February)

Where?  TBA (DC area)

How do I apply for interviews?  You should attend a Capital Consortium information session to find out what employers will be attending the event and how you can apply for interviews.  Please check Trinity Recruiting for the dates of information sessions.  Then, log into CapCon’s website and read the employer job descriptions. If you are interested in interviewing with an employer, you must pre-apply by submitting a cover letter and resume.  Please check Trinity Recruiting for the specific application deadline.  All applications must be submitted via the CapCon website.  Application materials need to be uploaded in the Resumes and Documents section of the web site.  After uploading the necessary documents, apply for positions in which you're interested. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  For step-by-step directions to using the CapCon website, please email career-services@trincoll.edu

* Please remember that if you are applying for a position, it is assumed you will accept an interview offer and travel to DC for the interview. Do not apply for any positions where this is not the case.

How do I know if I was selected for an interview?  Soon after applying, you will receive an e-mail notification of the interview(s) for which you have been selected.  If you do not receive an e-mail then you were not selected for an interview.

How do I schedule an interview?  After receiving your email notification, you are able to sign up for a specific interview time.  To choose an interview slot, you must log into the CapCon website. It is your responsibility to log onto the CapCon website and select an interview slot.  If you fail to do so, your interview time will be assigned to an alternate and you will lose the opportunity to interview with the employer.
