Career Counseling Assists students in clarifying defining career goals, exploring options, examining interests, values, talents, and developing a strategic plan. Trinity Online Community Networking is often the key to finding just the right position. Take advantage of Trinity’s On-Line Community and search this on-line version of the Trinity alumni directory for your Trinity friends and classmates and make new connections with other Trinity alumni/ae. Membership is exclusive and free to Trinity alumni/ae only.

Visiting the Community for the first time? Contact the Alumni Relations Office to obtain your unique ID to register. When you have received your unique ID, all you need to do to take advantage of all the Online Community has to offer is to "Click Here To Register Now!" and enter in your unique ID to establish a user ID and password.
Networking Events Meeting other alumni/ae and expanding your networking contacts is another vital part of any job search. We encourage you to attend as many networking events as possible and talk to as many people as you can.. Remember, everyone you meet has his/her own network so even if what they do for a living is not what you are interested in - they might be able to introduce you to someone who can help you find the job of your dreams! Optimal Resume A comprehensive web based resume building program that assists students in organizing their skills and experience into a resume that will help shape their success.

Resume and Cover Letter Review Our Career Advisors will review and offer constructive feedback on resume, cover letter, and drafts on graduate school essays. Students and Alumni can also post their resume on our Trinity Recruiting site, which will become available for employers to access online.

Campus Interviews The Office of Career Services will sponsor companies for on-campus interview visits, which are available to our students, and alumni on a space available basis. Contact the Department for upcoming dates.
Mock Interviews Career Advisors will conduct a videotaped practice interview, with a critique of nonverbal behaviors, verbal cues, and interview question responses. Contact the office to make an appointment.

CareerSearch Trinity has a subscription to this internet directory which has information about close to 1,000,000 companies and organizations nationwide. Although, it does not have specific job leads, it allows you to search for the industry, location and size of company you are looking for. This You can search by location as well as field of interest OR if you are just looking for an address and telephone number. To gain access to the site log in to Trinity Recruiting and search under employers for Passwords or contact Career Services at 860.297.2080 or career-services@trincoll.edu.

Reciprocity at College Career Centers
If you cannot get to campus, check out the Career Centers at the colleges and universities near you. They are often willing to set up a reciprocity arrangement enabling Trinity alumni to use their career library and resources. These services may not include participation in recruiting programs, access to university alumni, or individual appointment with professional staff. If you need a letter of reciprocity, please contact Linda Roy at 860-297-2082 with the institution name, the career center director's name, and mailing address.
