History of the Bantam Network

The idea for a mentoring network was introduced by President Joanne Berger-Sweeney in the fall of 2014, just months after her arrival as Trinity’s president in July 2014.  Following input during “listening sessions” throughout campus, five teams of students each created a blueprint for a first-year mentoring network in a three-month Design Team Challenge competition.  The winning concept, the Bantam Network, incorporates elements from each of the student teams.
