Trinity Women's Hockey Beats No. 7 Bowdoin Twice

Bantams improve to 11-5-4 on Season

Hartford, Conn. – Junior goaltender Alexa Pujol (New Canaan, Conn.) made 38 saves, including 19 in the third period, and classmate Abby Ostrom (Carlisle, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal with 8:05 left in regulation to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 3-1 victory over the No. 7-ranked Bowdoin College Polar Bears in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) action this afternoon on Williams Rink in the Koeppel Community Sports Center.  Trinity, which sweeps the series having blanked Bowdoin, 2-1, last evening, improves to 11-5-4 overall and 6-3-3 in the league, while Bowdoin drops to 14-4-2 overall and 8-3-1 in the NESCAC.
