2016 Trinity Summer Music Series Schedule Announced

Picnics Encouraged at Free Wednesday Concerts Starting June 29
 

Hartford, Connecticut, June 27, 2016

Summer Music Series at Trinity CollegeWhat: Trinity College will host the 67th Annual Plumb Memorial Carillon Concerts and the 42nd Annual Chamber Music Series as part of the 2016 Summer Music Series. The series, held annually at the College at the iconic Trinity College Chapel and the historic Long Walk Quad, will feature performances on six consecutive Wednesdays this summer. The performances, which feature high-quality chamber and carillon musicians, are free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine. In addition, this year will feature a picnic spread competition, judged by Emily Cahill, Hartford’s Yelp Community Manager, on a Wednesday, July 6. When: Each Wednesday, June 29 – August 3​, 2016  

Where: Trinity College, 300 Summit St., Hartford, Connecticut 06106*

Chamber Music Series: Held in the Trinity College Chapel ~ 6 p.m.

Carillon Music Series: Held on the Long Walk Quad alongside the Chapel ~ 7 p.m.

*Parking is available on Summit Street and Vernon Street

Please note: Tours of the Chapel Tower will be offered at 6 p.m. There will be no 6 p.m. chamber concert on this date. The carillon concert will take place on the Long Walk Quad.
