Hartford, Connecticut, March 30, 2017 – Members of the Trinity College community are invited to celebrate the opening of the College’s new baseball and softball fields. Please note the new location and times.
The event on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. will recognize the donors who were instrumental in supporting the completion of the Fields of Excellence project, resulting in construction of the new fields. It also will officially dedicate the Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium, in recognition of the philanthropy of Heather H. and James J. Murren ’83, and in honor of a generous gift from Linda M. and Thomas R. DiBenedetto ’71, P’08, ’12, ’13, ’15, ’17. James Murren is a current member of Trinity’s Board of Trustees, and Thomas DiBenedetto is a former trustee.
The celebration will be kicked off by a tailgate at noon in the Washington Room in Mather Hall. After the event, attendees are invited to cheer on the Bantams as they take on Tufts University for a baseball game at 2:00 p.m.
