26-Member Higher Education Group to Hold Conference on Manhood

Attendees will discuss redefining Manhood in a Time of Change
HARTFORD, CT, October 23, 2012 – The Consortium on High Achievement and Success (CHAS), of which Trinity is one of 26 members, will host a three-day conference aimed at “redefining manhood in a time of challenge and change.” The conference, “Man Up!?” will be Friday through Sunday, October 26-28 on the Trinity campus.

Founded in 2000, CHAS is composed of 26 selective liberal arts colleges and small universities dedicated to promoting high achievement, leadership and personal satisfaction of students on member campuses, with a focus on fostering success among students of color. CHAS is supported by its members and is hosted by Trinity. CHAS shares data, holds conferences and develops programs to support students, academically, socially and culturally.
