Bantams Celebrate and Reconnect at Alumni Reunion

Alumni Come Home to Relive, Reminisce, and Share Memories ’Neath the Elms

Hartford, CT, June 9, 2015 - More than 1,000 alumni, families, and friends came from as far away as Hong Kong to reconnect with fellow Bantams during Alumni Reunion, which took place June 4-7. This year’s Reunion celebrated class years ending in 0s and 5s, and attendees enjoyed picture-perfect days throughout Trinity’s signature event.

The festivities kicked off on Thursday night with a Class of 1965 dinner hosted by President Joanne Berger-Sweeney.  Alumni enjoyed the more than 70 events offered, which included Friday night’s traditional New England-style clambake, Saturday’s Reunion class dinners, as well as alumni- and faculty-led presentations.

A Danny Meyer ’80 Challenge was cooked up in time for Reunion and in honor of the Reunions for Danny’s fellow alumni in the 0s and 5s Classes. Danny will contribute $100,000 to Trinity when at least 1,200 Reunion alumni give before June 30, 2015. To date, more than 1,000 Reunion alumni have shown their Bantam pride.
