Team Hopes to Follow Strong Showing in Boston College Regional Tournament
Hartford, CT, March 12, 2015 – After a strong showing in February that left Trinity Mock Trial tied with Columbia University atop the regional tournament rankings, Trinity has been preparing to assert itself among the country’s top teams. The team, made up of Priya Vaishamprayan ’18, Emily Sullivan ’17, Richard Pizzano ’17, Julia Mardeusz ’16, Bobby Boyle ’16, Katherine Feehan ’16, Ursula Petersen ’15, and Youlan Xiu ’15, won every ballot but one in the Boston tournament. Today, Trinity heads to Washington, D.C., for the Opening Round Championship Series. A top-six finish will qualify for Trinity for the National Championship tournament.  On February 21, Trinity hosted Wesleyan for a mock trial scrimmage to prepare for their next step. Xiu has been documenting the team’s progress for the Department of Public Policy and Law’s Policy Voice blog.
