‘A Monologue, A Memory, A Rant & A Prayer’ to be Performed at Chapel February 26

Trinity College Hosts Event as Fundraiser for Women’s Shelter in Hartford

Hartford, Connecticut, February 26, 2016 – 

What: A Monologue, A Memory, A Rant & A Prayer (MMRP) is a collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights, edited by Eve Ensler and Mollie Doyle. It will be performed at Trinity College as a fundraiser for the Interval House, a women’s shelter in Hartford that provides victims of domestic violence with services to end family and partner abuse. MMRP artistically examines issues of violence, such as self-mutilation, domestic abuse, and abduction. Authors of these works include Michael Cunningham, Maya Angelou, Jane Fonda, and many more. The director of the performance is Dabin Lim,’16, and the assistant director is Christa Prophete ’17.

Donation: $5 with student ID; $10 for non-students, based on ability to pay.

When: Friday, February 26, 2016, 8:00 p.m.
