Trinity’s Asian American Student Association Presents International Student Night Oct. 27

A Panel of International Students Discusses the Dynamics of Living Abroad

WHAT: Trinity College’s Asian American Student Association (AASA) presents International Student Night, which will feature a panel of international students discussing experiences they have had during their time living abroad. Dinner will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

Background: This event seeks to share the stories and experiences of Trinity’s Asian international students with domestic students. Dinner will be served over insightful conversations about what it is like being an international student in America. Some topics that will be discussed are the legal and social dynamics of being a foreign student in America and how they compare with being of an American. The event seeks to gather information on how to make AASA, and by extension, Trinity as a whole, a more welcoming and appreciative home for international students.
