Alumni Ready to Return to Trinity College Campus for 2015 Homecoming Festivities

Weekend Includes Televised Football Matchup with Connecticut Rival Wesleyan

Hartford, Connecticut, November 12, 2015 – Hundreds of Trinity College alumni are expected back on campus for this year’s Homecoming, featuring the Bantams’ football game against Connecticut rivals the Wesleyan University Cardinals at Jessee/Miller Field on Saturday, November 14. Tickets will be available to purchase at the game.

The game will be televised live on CPTV Sports at noon throughout the state of Connecticut and surrounding areas, and is scheduled to be repeated on CPTV Sports on November 17 at 9 p.m., November 21 at 7 p.m., November 26 at 7:30 p.m., and December 20 at 8 p.m. You can also watch the webcast by NSN.

"The Trinity/Wesleyan game is steeped in tradition and history," said Trinity Head Coach Jeff Devanney. "The rivalry is special in the state of Connecticut and it is great for all of those involved that the game will be broadcast live on CPTV."

The Bantams can earn a share of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) title with a win this weekend and a loss by Amherst at Williams the same day. Also Saturday, Trinity will honor the 2005 undefeated Bantams on the 10th anniversary year of their tremendous season, and the College will present the 2014-15 National Men's Squash Champion Bantams with their championship rings at halftime of the game.


Homecoming offers many special events, in addition to the game. Some highlights of the weekend will include:

• Homecoming Football Game vs. Wesleyan Cardinals, with Halftime Presentation of Men's Squash National Championship Rings

• Men's Basketball Alumni Game

• Varsity Wrestling: Blue and Gold Duel and Alumni Reception

• Student A Cappella Concert

• Men of Color Alliance Talent Show

• Performance by Concert Organist Isabelle Demers

• Memorial Service for James A. Miller, Former Charles A. Dana Professor of English and American Studies
