Fraternities and Sororities Recognized for Contributions to Trinity and Connections with Community

Hartford, CT, May 13, 2015 – Chapters of Trinity’s fraternities and sororities, as well as individual members, were recognized on May 1 in the 2014-2015 Trinity College Greek Awards Ceremony. The ceremony followed a successful Greek Week filled with programming celebrating the College’s Greek community and encouraging safety and service. The following individuals and chapters were recognized:

Individual Awards

-    Emerging Leaders –  Molly Mann 16, Kappa Kappa Gamma; Ian Trotta 17, Kappa Sigma
-    Advisor of the Year – Joe Barber, Advisor to Zeta Omega Eta
-    Faculty Member of the Year – Tanetta Anderson, Sociology
-    Alumni Volunteer of the Year – Jeb Balise ’04
-    Award of Distinction – Alexander Loy 15, Kappa Sigma
-    Greek Man of the Year – Evan Abraham 15, Psi Upsilon
