Your Trinity ID Number and Card
Your Trinity ID card has a unique number printed on it that is your student ID number (or called emplid for faculty and staff). This should not be confused with your username. Your Trinity ID card has accounts associated with it, including door access to buildings and rooms, Dining Dollars used to make purchases in campus dining facilities, Free Print Dollars used for public printing, and Bantam Bucks used for campus vending machines, laundry facilities, and general purchases on campus and at local establishments off campus.
All college students, faculty and staff are responsible for maintaining their Trinity ID card. Lost or stolen ID cards are replaced at the Help Desk for $40 if ordered online on the TCommerce site or $50 for a departmental funds transfer. An ID card that is no longer working because of damage to the card will be replaced at no cost if the damaged card is brought to the Help Desk.
Personal Access Code (PAC) Keys and Locks
In addition to Trinity ID card use for door access, each student, faculty and staff member is issued a 6-digit personal access code (PAC). For your security, a PAC should never be shared. There may be a charge for issuing a new PAC.
For places in which a Trinity ID card or PAC cannot be used, a key will be issued. Keys are only issued with approval by an individual's Department Head. Requests can be made by contacting the Help Desk at x2100 or by emailing lockline@trincoll.edu.
Lock changes or repairs may be requested through the Help Desk or in the case of an emergency by contacting Campus Safety. Special or unusual requests for lock changes and modifications that are approved will be provided as a reimbursable service.
