Email Configuration Information

Listed below is Trinity College's server information that can be used to set up email within an application or device. Your service provider can assist you with the configuration of your phone by providing them this guide. You may also stop by the Trinity College Help Desk for assistance in setting up email on your phone or other device. Please note that while the Help Desk can offer general assistance, support may be limited for specific personal wireless devices, phones, cell phones, smart phones or PDAs.

Microsoft Exchange Settings

  • Exchange Server:
    • Phones and devices: webmail.trincoll.edu
    • Outlook clients: ca.cmpcntr.tc.trincoll.edu
  • User Name: cmpcntr\username
  • Domain: CMPCNTR (for IPhones, leave this field blank)

IMAP Settings

  • Incoming Mail Server: imap.trincoll.edu
  • Outgoing Mail Server: asmtp.trincoll.edu
  • Account Name: cmpcntr\username\firstname.lastname
  • Outgoing Mail Port (SMTP): 587
  • Incoming Mail Port (IMAP): 143
  • SSL should NOT be selected

POP Settings

  • Incoming Mail Server: pop.trincoll.edu
  • Outgoing Mail Server: asmtp.trincoll.edu
  • Account Name: cmpcntr\username\firstname.lastname
  • Outgoing Mail Port (SMTP): 587
  • Incoming Mail Port (POP3): 110
  • SSL should NOT be selected
