How do I get it?

Bring your Trinity ID to the Help Desk on level B of the library to purchase a product. Each product costs $25 in Bantam Bucks. If you do not have Bantam Bucks on your ID card, you may add Bantam Bucks online with a credit or debit card at http://tcommerce.trincoll.edu. You may also put cash on your card using the Value Transfer Stations (VTS) located in Mather and on Level A of the library.

You will be given a temporary installation key that will allow you to install the product and run it up to 50 times. To get a confirmation number, which will allow you to run the software indefinitely, you will be required to register with Microsoft. Instructions on how to register permanently will appear when you launch the application installer.

Students may only purchase one copy of each product during their entire time at Trinity.

Faculty and staff may purchase one copy of each product per year.

What about upgrading my operating system?

In order to upgrade your operating system to Windows 8 Pro or Windows 7 Ultimate you MUST currently have a valid version of Windows already installed on your computer.

Before performing an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro or Windows 7 Ultimate, PLEASE review the requirements on Microsoft's web site to ensure your computer is capable of the upgrade. Microsoft also provides an Upgrade Advisor you should download and run to see if there are any issues with your computer's current configuration.

What happens when I graduate/leave Trinity?

Students graduating from Trinity can keep the software installed on their computer if our license is still in effect when they leave. At the time of graduation, the Student License will convert to a perpetual license (meaning, you own the Software) as verified in you License Confirmation. This document is proof of Software ownership.

Faculty and staff are responsible for removing all of the licensed software from their computers if they stop working at the college or if they are notified that we've discontinued this agreement with Microsoft.

What do I agree to by installing the Microsoft Software?

When purchasing products, you will be asked to confirm that you have read the Microsoft Licensing Agreement and will adhere to it's requirements. By installing any of the software, you are agreeing to the license which can be found at: http://www.microsoft.com/education/schoolagreement.mspx

The College's license agreement with Microsoft is subject to change, and you will be expected to comply with any such changes or to remove the software from your computer.
