The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations seeks funding from corporations and foundations whose mission and interests coincide with the priorities and programs of Trinity College. Funding from organizations supports academic and student services programs, facilities construction, and student scholarships as well as a variety of innovative mentoring, outreach and educational initiatives.
Here are some of the College’s priorities which have been funded recently by corporations and foundations:

A W.K. Kellogg Foundation grant to examine progress in the College’s urban engagement work and develop a blueprint for its permanent integration in the curriculum;

A Fleet Bank, N.A. award to support a series of community service scholarships for undergraduates committed to making a difference in cities like Hartford;

An Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Foundation grant for physical improvements to the J. L. Goodwin Theater in the Austin Arts Center;

A grant by The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. in support of the Alliance for Academic Achievement (Straight A Program), which provides scholarships for top scholars from three Hartford public high schools;

A Lumina Foundation for Education award for the Adolescent Mentoring Program;

An Atlantic Philanthropies, Inc. award to deepen urban engagement through community collaboration in the areas of child health and education;

A Nellie Mae Education Foundation grant for the Consortium on High Achievement and Success;

A Ford Foundation grant for the project Reconfiguring Partnerships in Global Education;

A Thomas and Charlotte Valentine Taylor Educational Foundation grant to support scholarships for outstanding undergraduates.
