Directing Your Gift
Gifts to the Trinity College Fund make it happen, from athletic fields to computer workstations, from support for students and faculty to books, CD-ROMs, lectures and concerts. Alumni, parents, and friends of the College may direct their Trinity Fund gift toward an ongoing priority of the College by choosing one of six designations listed below.
Unrestricted
Donors who choose to make unrestricted gifts may be assured that the College will allocate their gifts to its most pressing priorities. Unrestricted gifts provide the flexibility for the College to use these gifts wherever the need is greatest.
Excellent Faculty
Gifts to the Trinity Fund may be made in honor, or in memory, of a faculty member who made a difference in your Trinity experience. Faculty will be notified of your support in their honor.
Student Life
Gifts to the Student Life designation maintain Trinity’s commitment to enroll the best students. These gifts support Financial Aid and sustain sponsored student activities such as club events, campus events, intramural sports, and lectures.
The Raether Library and
Information Technology Center
Trinity's library is truly exceptional. With more than 926,000 volumes and 12,800 periodicals and computer access to more than 2,000,000 titles through a library consortium, it is one of the finest small-college libraries in the nation. Students enjoy its substantial and well-chosen holdings, exceptional service, and superior technology. Designating your gift to the Library supports a resource central to Trinity's academic enterprise.
Academic Programs
Gifts through the Academic Programs designation support all academic departments as well as provide for study abroad support, academic internships, and centers of learning including the Center for Urban and Global Studies and the Greenberg Center for the Study of Religion in Public Life.
Athletics
Gifts to athletics continue Trinity’s excellent athletic tradition by helping to maintain athletic facilities, purchase new equipment, and increase opportunities for participation in national and international competitions.
Payable by June 30, all Trinity Fund gifts are used in the fiscal year in which they are received. No matter what designation donors choose to support, they can be assured that their gifts will be a sound investment in the College.
