Local Transportation

From Bradley International Airport

Take the Bradley Flyer from the bus stop on outer roadway at Terminal A or International Arrivals. The bus fare is $1.50. Get off at the Convention Center stop. The Hartford Marriott Downtown will be across the street.

Taxis are always available at the airport as well. The fare to Hartford is a fixed rate of $45.

From New York City

The fastest, most direct ground transportation is a Peter Pan (or Bonanza, or Greyhound) bus from the NYC Port Authority station.

Trains depart from Penn Station in New York. A few each day run directly to Hartford (and even scheduled trains to Hartford sometimes switch to bus transport at the New Haven station).

It is also possible to take a train to New Haven, then a bus to Hartford.

Trains and busses stop at Union Station in Hartford, 1.2 miles (2 km) from the hotel. Taxis are available at the Union Station.

A company called "Connecticut Limo" runs vans between JFK and Hartford, but their drop-off spot in Hartford is on the outskirts of the city (convenient for suburban residents but not visitors). You will need to call a cab to take you from the drop-off spot to the Hartford Marriott Downtown or Trinity College.

From Newark
