CT Transit Buses

Every semester, Trinity’s Office of Community Service and Civic Engagement will provide Trinity students a Bantam Bus Pass for unlimited free rides on the CT Transit bus system. Or pay the regular adult fare of $1.75 and bring exact change.

Highly recommended: download the free Transit app to your smartphone  for real-time bus data. Or view public transit schedules on Google Maps.

Budget at least 30 minutes for door-to-door travel from Trinity’s main campus to the downtown campus, including a short walk to and from the bus stops.

Driving by Car

The closest parking garage is the  Constitution Plaza Parking – South Garage. Use the Kinsley Street entrance to bring you closest to Constitution Plaza. This parking garage charges $26.50 per day, or $13.20 for 3 hours. Trinity does not have any free parking spaces to offer during daytime hours. But students, faculty, and staff may park without charge between 5:00 p.m.- 10:30 p.m. on business days and Saturdays, in connection with classes (beginning one hour prior and one hour after class).

Downtown street parking is limited and has a 2-hour limit on weekdays from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., making it unsuitable for a 3-hour class.
