Art Happenings

photo from dance performanceTrinity offers a variety of opportunities to learn, attend, and participate in the arts.  From student and faculty exhibits and performances to appearances by world renowned artists, the College has several venues committed to music, dance, visual arts, and dramatic theater.  Most exhibits and performances are open to the public. Some of the venues on campus include:

Cinestudio: Founded by students in 1970, Cinestudio is an on-campus, single-screen theater that blends old-fashioned movie palace ambience with state-of-the-art equipment.  Offering both first-run and classic films, as well as foreign films and festivals, Cinestudio is a cultural gem that gives student volunteers an opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience in theater operation and management.

Austin Arts Center: The Goodwin Theater and Garmany Hall in the Austin Arts Center present an eclectic and vibrant mix of live theater, dance, and music by guest performers, students, and faculty.

Art Galleries: Revolving visual art exhibits are featured at the Broad Street Gallery, the Widener Gallery in the Austin Arts Center, and the Art Space in Mather Hall.
