Bantam Alumni Mentoring Network
About the Bantam Alumni Mentoring Network (BAM)
BAM acts as a vehicle to connect students and alumni who work in certain fields, hold particular jobs or attend particular graduate schools. It allows an opportunity to gather information, establish contacts and referrals, and acquire “inside” knowledge about a specific career, job type, or graduate program. Mentoring allows you the chance to become more focused in your career plan and understand the best way to enter that field.
BAM is not a job-placement or job-leads service. Mentors are not expected to provide students or fellow alumni with referrals to job openings.
When using BAM please be sure to note how the alumnus/a prefers to be contacted and respect those wishes. If an alumnus/a indicates not to be called at home, please refrain from calling the home number even if it is included in the profile. To find each mentor's preferences, read the “Bantam Alumni Mentoring” section at the bottom of the individual’s personal profile page.
