Vincent R. Stempien ’61, P’93

Vin Stempien graduated from Trinity in 1961 with a BA in History. After completing OCS and spending three years as a Naval Officer, he moved to NYC and received his MBA degree from New York University in 1967. He joined Citibank in the Fall of that year and began a thirty three year career with various assignments in Corporate, International, Asset Based and Private Banking. He was a Vice President and Senior Credit Officer. Upon retiring form Citi in 2000, he established a Financial Planning/Advisory Practice, affiliating himself with Sound Wealth Financial Group, a major Wealth Management Company located on Long Island.

Vin has been an enthusiastic volunteer for Trinity for over twenty years. He has been a Class Agent during this period and was awarded the Alumni Award for Excellence in 2001 for his multifaceted volunteer activities. He has been married to his wife Doreen for over 41 years and they have two children and two grandchildren. Doreen has always been an enthusiastic advocate for Trinity. Their son Rob had an outstanding experience at Trinity graduating with the Class of 1993.
