Transfer Students

Timing is critical in the financial aid process. Please keep in mind the following deadlines when applying for financial aid at Trinity.

Federal and State Aid: Only a FAFSA is required to apply for federal and state financial aid. You may ignore the information below. If your FAFSA is selected for verification, we will request additional documentation to complete the verification process. Documentation may include such items as tax returns, W-2 statements and a verification worksheet.

Trinity Institutional Aid: A CSS Profile is required to apply for Trinity Institutional aid assistance. Please submit all documentation by the deadlines listed below.  

Deadline for Spring 2018 Admittance

November 1

Please complete the following online:

  • Complete the 2017-18 CSS Profile application and Noncustodial PROFILE application (if applicable)- required to apply for Trinity Institutional financial aid
  • Complete 2017-18 FAFSA application - required to apply for federal and state financial aid

Please send the following to the Financial Aid Office:

  • Parent(s) 2015 federal tax returns including all supplements and W-2 statements
  • 2015 federal business tax returns (if applicable)
  • Noncustodial parent (if applicable) 2015 federal tax returns including all supplements and W-2 statements


Deadline for Fall 2018 Admittance

March 15

Please complete the following online:
  • Complete the 2018-19 CSS Profile application- required to apply for Trinity Institutional financial aid  (If your biological parents are divorced or separated, a separate CSS Profile is required from your noncustodial parent)
  • Complete the 2018-19 FAFSA application - required to apply for federal and state financial aid
Please send the following to the Financial Aid Office:
  • Parent(s) 2016 federal tax returns including all supplements and W-2 statements
  • 2016 federal business tax returns (if applicable)
  • Noncustodial parent (if applicable) 2016 federal tax returns including all supplements and W-2 statements

 
Please note: You must indicate on your Admissions Application that you wish to be considered for financial aid. It is too late to apply for Trinity grant assistance after you have been admitted. However, late applicants may apply for federal aid assistance.
