Hours        5-10 hours/week between 4:00-7:00 pm Monday-Friday with flexibility. Some weekends

Responsibilities       Under direct supervision, effectively performs a variety of clerical tasks in support of operations within the department. Provide academic support to youth in grades 4 through 12. Duties include:
  • Answering phones
  • Greet program participators and visitors
  • Respond to questions
  • Provide information
  • Respond to requests for information via email, phone or in person
  • Gathers forms and documents
  • Searches for and copies documents
  • Attend some meetings
  • Performs data entry
  • Track participants' academic records
  • Maintain information log and Facebook updates
  • Keep office area clean and tidy
Support the efforts of the Footlights Program for year end performance. Support participants to become fully prepared for yearend showcase; and fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth
 
Skills        Office experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Other skills include:
  • Competent computer skills
  • Experience working with youth of all ages
  • Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and data collection
  • Numeracy and literacy skills
