Meet Our Tour Guides

Trinity's tour guides are a group of highly motivated students who are selected to represent the College. We are very proud of our tour guides and have used the page below to expand on their talents, interests, and involvement here at Trinity.

Perin Adams Concord, Massachusetts Class of 2013 Perin.Adams@trincoll.edu	High school: Groton School Major: English Literature, Economics Favorite class taken at Trinity: Science Nature and Religion in the Time of Galileo Favorite professor at Trinity: Sean Cocco Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because I was looking for a combination of what (at first glance) seems like a combination of contradictory things. I wanted a small school where I could really get to know my professors and peers, but I also wanted a school that would provide me with enough independence to find my own way. Also, I was looking for a small liberal arts college with a real "campus" feel, but at the same time I didn’t want to be in the middle of the woods. At Trinity I’m able to find all of those things in (what I believe) is the perfect combination. Extracurricular activities: The Quirks (all-female a cappella group), M.D. Fox Mentoring, Teaching Assistantships, First-Year Mentor, Chapel Singers, Mock Trial. What I love most about Trinity: Sushi Wednesdays in the Cave Café. Also, let’s not forget the incredible freedom I’m allowed in course selection and in creating my own academic path. Professional goals/career plans: Ideally, I’d love to attend a joint law and business program to get a JD/MBA, but I’d like to take a few years off before going back to school and potentially teach, travel, and act. I’m not totally sure of what I want to do ultimately, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out along the way.

Ashish Adhikari Moorhead, Minnesota (Originally from Nepal) Class of 2013 Ashish.Adhikari@trincoll.edu	High school: Moorhead High School Major: Math/Chemistry Minor: Undecided Favorite class taken at Trinity: Law and Environmental Policy Favorite professor at Trinity: Nancy Wyshinski and Russell Brenneman Why I chose Trinity: I was looking for a very well-rounded education. I did not want to become part of a super structured program that wouldn’t give me any leeway to break away from the sciences and delve into other areas of study. I feel like Trinity was best-suited program for this purpose. I was also enticed by the scholarships that Trinity had to offer me. Extracurricular activities: House manager of the Mill, Trinity Rugby, Jazz Ensemble, Samba Ensemble, Fred Pfiel Community Project, Math tutor at eh Q-center What I love most about Trinity: I am most impressed by the quality of the professorship at the college. There are renowned, and diligent people that are willing to spend their own time and resources in order to benefit their students. That is all I can ask of my professors, and I know for a fact that this phenomenon is by no means universal. I feel lucky to be under the care of such giving human beings. Professional goals/career plans: Although it is too early to define my career, I hope to marry my interests for the field of medicine, research science and music together during my adult life.

R. Andrew Bannon-Guasp West Hartford, Connecticut Class of 2013 Raphael.Bannonguasp@trincoll.edu	High school: Conard High School Major: Double major in History and Religion Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Religion in American History" Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Frank G. Kirkpatrick Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because of its location, which is close to home for me. It also had the best academic program of all the colleges into which I was accepted. Extracurricular activities: I am involved in the "Fred" which is a student-run social dormitory that provides alternative, non-exclusive events every Friday night during the school year. This summer, a few friends and I have also started a small library in the Fred that currently stands at approximately 600 volumes. The goal is to have a fully functional library by the beginning of the school year which will provide a space for students to study. Outside of Trinity, I am politically active. I am currently a Justice of the Peace for the State of Connecticut. What I love most about Trinity: I really love the community feeling of the Fred. It’s nice to know everyone in the building and to work together to put on an event every Friday evening. It’s one of Trinity’s best assets. Professional goals/career plans: It is my goal to teach religion or history at the undergraduate level.

Lucy Bauer Seattle, Washington Class of 2014 Lucy.Bauer@trincoll.edu	High school: Roosevelt High School Major: Political Science Minor: French Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Political Philosophy" Favorite professor at Trinity: Diana Evans Why I chose Trinity: I wanted to go to a small school on the East Coast so I could try living in a new culture and environment, even if it’s only for four years. Trinity has a magnetic atmosphere with an outstanding campus, engaging academics, and an intriguing social scene. Extracurricular activities: Quest Pre-Orientation Trip Leader, Instrumental Ensemble, Magnet Elementary School Tutor. What I love most about Trinity: Trinity is the perfect size: it’s small enough that I can see someone I know in a class or at the dining hall, but large enough that I’m always meeting new people. I was worried about Trinity being too small, but I learned that it’s so easy to get out of a limited social circle and join others by joining clubs, trying different programs, or simply taking a class outside your typical interests. Trinity makes it easy to get out of your comfort zone when you want, but still feel like you belong here. Professional goals/career plans: I hope to travel for a few years after graduating and live in some of the cities I’ve always wanted to visit. Afterwards I hope to go to law school.

Professional goals/career plans: I hope to move to New York City and pursue a career in media, journalism, or sales.

Molly Boyd Madison, Connecticut Class of 2014 Molly.Boyd@trincoll.edu	High school: St. George’s School Major: Political Science and Sociology double major Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Social Class and Mobility" Favorite professor at Trinity: Stephen Valocchi Why I chose Trinity: What initially drew me to Trinity was its small size, liberal arts education and beautiful campus located in a city. I also loved the opportunity for personal relationships with professors and general warmth of the student body. Extracurricular activities: Varsity rowing team, tour guide, Student Alumni Ambassador. What I love most about Trinity: The small class sizes and sense of community on campus. Professional goals/career plans: I hope to eventually attend law school and study international law.

Days (an Admissions program for accepted students). Extracurricular activities: Multi-Cultural Recruitment Intern in the Admissions Office, Trinity College Trinitones (all-female a cappella group) What I love most about Trinity: The one-on-one relationship that students get to build with faculty and staff. Professional goals/career plans: To guide high schools seniors with the college process as a college counselor in an inner city school or to be a college admissions officer.

Ali Callegari Malvern, Pennsylvania Class of 2014 Ali.Callegari@trincoll.edu	High school: The Baldwin School Major: Neuroscience Minor: Photography Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Science and Asthma: A Global Perspective" Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Maria Parr Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because of the small class size, study abroad options and the individualized attention from professors. It is a small school located in a city, with a successful women’s rowing team. Extracurricular activities: Varsity Women’s Rowing Team, Tour Guide, Student Mentoring. What I love most about Trinity: The close knit feel of the student body, the campus, and the all of the opportunities and resources that Trinity offers. Professional goals/career plans: I plan to have career in pediatric medicine.

Courtney Chaloff Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts Class of 2012 Courtney.Chaloff@trincoll.edu	High school: Newton South High School Major: Educational Studies (possible double in Psychology) Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Anthropology of Violence, Memory and Commemoration" Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Butos and Professor Anderson Why I chose Trinity: Trinity is the ideal distance from home and offers courses in areas I am interested in (i.e. Trinity has a an educational studies program). Trinity’s athletic programs are also very strong and I was recruited for volleyball. Overall, Trinity seemed to be the best fit with my academic and athletic interests. I felt very comfortable and welcomed on campus. Extracurricular activities: Varsity Volleyball team, Mentor in the Hartford Magnet Middle School, Hillel Member, tour guide. What I love most about Trinity: Besides athletics and academics, the thing I love the most about Trinity is the all the green. The quads are beautiful and I love spending afternoons outside with my friends, doing homework, playing sports or just relaxing. Professional goals/career plans: As of now, I am interested in teaching. I am interested in elementary or special education. I plan on working in a school at some level – as a teacher, guidance counselor, special education aid, etc.

Ayala Cohen Newton, Massachusetts Class of 2013 Ayala.Cohen@trincoll.edu	High school: Newton South High School Major: Public Policy & Law Minor: Human Rights Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Question of Justice" Favorite professor at Trinity: Edward Cabot Why I chose Trinity: Trinity had everything I was looking for in a college: a small school with personalized attention from faculty, a broad array of student organizations, an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, and an importance of hands-on involvement in the campus and greater Hartford community. It seemed like and has proven to be a place that gives you the opportunity to take on leadership roles in anything that interests you. Extracurricular activities: Hillel, Trinitones (all female　acapella group), Relay for Life. What I love most about Trinity: Not only the academics but the learning that happens outside the classroom through the amazing people and professors I’ve met here with such diverse interests and backgrounds. Professional goals/career plans: I hope to attend law school after graduating.

Malcolm Evans Worcester, Massachusetts Class of 2013 Malcolm.Evans@trincoll.edu	High school: Worcester Acacemy Major: Theater & Dance Minor: Studio Arts Favorite class taken at Trinity: Photography I Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Michelle Hendrick Why I chose Trinity: Trinity reminded me of my high school and its sense of community really attracted me. I knew I wanted to go to Trinity within a few minutes of being on campus. Extracurricular activities: M.D. Fox Mentoring, School Supplies for Little Guys, Trinity College Dischords, Chapel Singers, The Mill, Zeta Omega Eta. What I love most about Trinity: It’s really easy to find a place where you can be yourself on the Trinity campus. Even if that means starting a new club or participating in pre-existing programs, there is a place for you. Professional goals/career plans: I want to become a tour producer for different art forms. Specifically, I want to produce tours for music artists. I'm also looking into a potential career in comedic writing.

Elizabeth Fagan Madison, Connecticut Class of 2012 Elizabeth.Fagan@trincoll.edu	High school: Choate Rosemary Hall Major: Political Science Favorite class taken at Trinity: Art and the Public Good Favorite professor at Trinity: Anthony Dell’Aera Why I chose Trinity: I was drawn to Trinity’s excellent academic tradition and the school’s dynamic relationship with the city of Hartford. The unique small college atmosphere enables students to forge lasting bonds with peers and professors while the metropolitan backdrop offers unique internship and volunteer opportunities. Extracurricular activities: Jarvis Honors Suite, Internship with the CT Attorney General’s Office, Outdoors Club. What I love most about Trinity: I love walking across the beautiful campus for classes with talented professors truly interested in teaching everything from American Politics to Squash. Professional goals/career plans: I plan to attend law school upon graduation and hope to fuse legal studies and politics at an international firm.

Henry Fitts Rochester, New York Class of 2012 Henry.Fitts@trincoll.edu	High school: Brighton High School Major: Sociology Favorite class taken at Trinity: The Indian City Favorite professor at Trinity: Rachel Barlow Why I chose Trinity: It was the perfect fit for me. It was a small school where I felt I could know people and be known. It has excellent D-III athletics and a dominant men’s rowing program, which was one of my major considerations. From the moment I set foot on campus I had a great feeling about this place, and an overnight visit with members of the men’s rowing team made up my mind. I applied early decision I, and I’ve been having the time of my life ever since. Extracurricular activities: Varsity Rowing, tour guide What I love most about Trinity: I love the atmosphere our community creates on campus. We know how to have fun, but we also know how to work hard. The close relationship with professors encourages academic success, and we as peers push each other to apply ourselves and learn as much as we can. Professional goals/career plans: I’m very interested in a career in city or town planning. I am very active in the Urban and Global Studies department at Trinity, and traveled to China in the summer of 2010 with the Boomtowns of the Yangtze River program.

I love the idea of going to college in a city that offers a multitude of internship and job opportunities, and of course, I fell in love with the gorgeous campus. Extracurricular activities: SILP tutor, Intramural Soccer, Assistant to Art Department, Landscape Architecture Intern, Tour Guide. What I love most about Trinity: I love the friends I have made and the professors I have met while taking interesting classes and getting the work experience needed to be successful when I graduate. Professional goals/career plans: I want to work in Graphic Design for an online magazine or attend graduate school for Architecture.

Carolina Galdiz Washington, DC Class of 2014 Carolina.Galdiz@trincoll.edu	High school: Georgetown Visitation Major: International Studies Favorite class taken at Trinity: Human Rights in Latin America and the Caribbean Favorite professor at Trinity: Chloe Wheatley and Dario Euraque Why I chose Trinity: Small close-knit community was evident, unique warmth and friendliness of student body, located in a city Extracurricular activities: Coxswain on the men’s rowing team, a research assistant for the Language and Culture Studies department, a Student-Alumni Ambassador, member of Amnesty International What I love most about Trinity: I love the amount of activities and resources available on and off campus and through professors and how easy it is to engage with and be successful and so many facets of the community. Professional goals/career plans: I hope to go into the Peace Corps or Teach America right after graduating, and then go on to either graduate or law school for Human Rights Law or Environmental Law.

Christine Ganley Westford, Massachusetts Class of 2012 Christine.Ganley@trincoll.edu	High school: Westford Academy Major: Middle Eastern Studies Minor: Undecided Favorite class taken at Trinity: Intro to Intensive Elementary Arabic I and II Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Flibbert Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because it offered Middle Eastern Studies as a major, it is relatively close to home, it has a beautiful campus but was in a city, it is small (and therefore has small class sizes), and because of its strong academic program offerings across the curriculum. Extracurricular activities: Mentor at M.D. Fox elementary school, intramural soccer and softball. What I love most about Trinity: I love that Trinity offers a wide variety of academic subjects to study, that it is small enough where you can get personal attention and help if necessary, that it has a beautiful campus but exposes students to life in the city as well, and that classes are challenging but not impossible to do well in. Professional goals/career plans: I plan to become fluent in Arabic and work in some sort of government organization, most likely the FBI.

What I love most about Trinity: Spending my junior year abroad to Barcelona and seeing the world. Professional goals/career plans: Working in world of Finance, hopefully on Wall Street.

Extracurricular activities: Hillel, House of Peace, Trinity Tripod What I love most about Trinity: There is no limit to the academic, social, and, extracurricular opportunities Trinity provides - so it would be impossible to graduate without being a well-rounded individual! Professional goals/career plans: Post-graduation I would like to participate in the Teach for America program and eventually work in a finance-oriented field.

Extracurricular activities: Rising Stars Mentoring Program, tour guide What I love most about Trinity: The people are definitely the best part of this campus. I have met so many smart, personable, and eager teachers and students here. Everyone is willing to challenge your intellect in the classroom and then relax with you on the quad. Professional goals/career plans: I would love to move to New York City and work in an International Organization or as part of a Human Rights effort.

Julia Grasso Swampscott, Massachusetts Class of 2012 Julia.Grasso@trincoll.edu	High school: Swampscott High School Major: English and American Studies Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Presley, Dylan, Springsteen" Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Masur and Professor Hager Why I chose Trinity: Trinity was not only the perfect size, location, and environment for me, but its academic tradition also suited what I was looking for in an education. The small student to teacher ratio allows me to have a personal relationship with all of my professors, providing me with a more individual academic experience. Trinity’s social environment also ensures that there is never a dull moment! Extracurricular activities: English Student Advisory Board, Trinity Campus Correspondent for Her Campus Magazine, dance concerts/musicals. What I love most about Trinity: I love the sense of comradely between the students, faculty and staff. Everyone is here because they love this college and it’s almost impossible to walk across campus without seeing a familiar smiling face. Professional goals/career plans: I would like to become an editor for a publishing company or write for a magazine or newspaper.

Catherine Guariglia Glen Rock, New Jersey Class of 2014 Catherine.Guariglia@trincoll.edu	High school: Glen Rock High School Major: Biology Minor: Community Action with a concentration in Public Health Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Biology of Infectious Disease" Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Foster Why I chose Trinity: To be honest, when I was applying to colleges as a senior in high school, I never envisioned I would end up in Hartford on move-in day. But then I visited on Trinity VIP Days and had my first tour. I found that Trinity College was my perfect fit for me. I loved the idea of a small liberal arts college where I could really be part of a community. Extracurricular activities: Women’s Rowing, Tour Guide, Community Service What I love most about Trinity: Although there are so many things I love about this school, I would say the sense of community we all have here is at the top of my list. I love being able to recognize most students and have professors and administrators call me by name. Also, nothing beats the quad in the springtime. Professional goals/career plans: As a sophomore my plans are constantly changing and will continue to change. For right now, I envision going to medical school.

Alison "Ali" Gutermann West Hartford, Connecticut Class of 2013 Alison.Gutermann@trincoll.edu	High school: William H. Hall High School Major: Psychology Minor: Educational Studies Favorite class taken at Trinity: As a freshman, all students are required to take a first-year seminar course. The one I was enrolled in was called “Changing Your Mind” where we did research, read many books, watched videos, and visited local museums to gain insight on how to improve our brains so as to excel cognitively. This class had a very intimate setting—12 students, a senior mentor, and the professor. We spent time outside of the allotted class time together whether it be on field trips, out to dinner as a group, or to conduct study sessions for our exams, which aided in making the sometimes-scary transition from high school to college life smooth and enjoyable. Favorite professor at Trinity: Sarah Raskin, Psychology Department Why I chose Trinity: Coming from a large public high school, I really valued the personal attention and small class sizes that Trinity had to offer. The relationship between the students and the professors here is quite amazing—professors and students are actively involved in each others' lives and many times are seen grabbing a bite to eat at local restaurants or the dining hall to discuss both academic and personal matters. Extracurricular activities: M.D. Fox Mentoring Program, Student Teaching in Hartford Public Schools, community service, M.D. Fox After School Program, and volunteering at the Trinity College Day Care Center What I love most about Trinity: Trinity is not only a school—it’s a community. It is a place where students' top priorities are their academic careers, but also where they can be individuals and become involved in many different groups, sports teams, or organizations. Furthermore, the staff at Trinity is just as involved as the students—they cheer on their students on the athletic fields, attend the school plays, and are actively engaged in both the social and academic lives of their students. Professional goals/career plans: Elementary school teacher or child psychologist.

Abby Himmelrich Baltimore, Maryland Class of 2012 Abby.Himmelrich@trincoll.edu	High school: Beth Tfiloh High School Major: Psychology and Educational Studies Minor: Hebrew Favorite class taken at Trinity: Child Development Favorite professor at Trinity: Levana Polate Why I chose Trinity: I wanted to attend a small, liberal arts school. After looking at my list of schools, a family friend suggested that I also consider Trinity. After visiting here, I loved the feel of the small school and that it is in New England. I also wanted to be able to develop relationships with my professors, have them know my name, and be willing to help me outside of class if I ever needed guidance. The Hillel at Trinity also led me to choose this college because of the close and welcoming environment that Hillel offers to students. Extracurricular activities: On the board at Hillel, volunteer in the art class at the Montessori School in the Learning Corridor. What I love most about Trinity: I love the community that develops from a small school. I can walk around campus and see people I know from a class or an extracurricular activity and easily say hi or have a brief conversation. The small community also allows students to form close relationships with professors and other faculty members on campus. Professors want to see their students succeed, and will do whatever they can to make that happen, whether it is sitting down and re-explaining a concept from class or reading through a draft of a paper. Professional goals/career plans: I want to work with and help children in some way.

Otis Holloway Douglasville, Georgia Class of 2012 Otis.Holloway@trincoll.edu	High school: Douglas County High School Major: Political Science Minor: African-American Studies Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Law, Politics and Society" and "Introduction to African-American Literature" Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Kevin McMahon and Professor Christopher Hager Why I chose Trinity: Trinity College offered an urban environment where I could explore its culture and vibrancy. The metropolitan location naturally presented numerous prospective internships. Due to the school’s tight-knit community, Trinity offered me the opportunity to gain intimate and meaningful relationships with my potential professors and college administrators. Extracurricular activities:I am currently a co-chair of the Men of Color Alliance. I am also an upperclassmen Residential Assistant and a member of the Honor Council. What I love most about Trinity: I love the fact that Trinity introduced me to novel experiences and fascinating people that I will never forget. I was able to study abroad at the University of Cape Town for six months, while interning at a prominent NGO. Professors and students come from all over the world to discuss interesting topics from institutional racism to the creative ingenuity of the iPhone. The casual and formal conversations I have had with my professors have been remarkable, to say the least. Professional goals/career plans: I plan to go to graduate school for diplomacy. My goal is to become an ambassador for the United States. Later, I would like to run my own hospitality business in my own community.

Anne “Annie” Isaacs Dover, Massachusetts Class of 2012 Anne.Isaacs@trincoll.edu	High school: Dover-Sherborn High School Major: Psychology Minor: History Favorite class taken at Trinity: "Order and Disorder in the Medieval Mind", or Philosophy Favorite professor at Trinity: Drew Hyland Why I chose Trinity: The gorgeous campus and the proximity to home. Extracurricular activities:ConnPIRG, and volunteer as a trainer for gym equiptment. What I love most about Trinity: The way that the faculty really wants to help you succeed in any way they can. Professional goals/career plans: As a psychology major, I want to pursue a job in that field, although I want to stretch it to combine working with adolescents and athletes; Sports Adolescent Psychology. As an injured athlete I have seen players lose touch with their sport because they can’t get over the hump created by their injury. I want to help them in way I was unable to get help when I was injured.

Not only did it solidify my interest in Philosophy, but it also implemented and challenged concepts that I have learned in my Public Policy and Economics classes. The ideas of philosophers such as Aristotle, Kant and Kelsen were meticulously inspected and often became centerpieces of discussions inside and outside of class. Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Cabot and Professor Marcano Why I chose Trinity: After having gone to a high school with 3,000 students, I was looking for a small college that would allow me to get to know my professors and would have a sense of community. It was a small class, based around analyzing historical events and people through textual analysis. Reading accounts from the great public figures of the past is an experience unlike any other. Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Scott Gac Why I chose Trinity: I first fell in love with Trinity on my tour; in all honesty, I was never planning on attending such a small school so far from home. Trinity of course has a great reputation for academic excellence, which contributed. But when I set foot on the long walk I was overtaken by the picturesque campus. At that moment all I could think about was becoming a Bantam. Extracurricular activities: Varsity Swim Team, Member of the Honor Council, Class President 2010-2011, First Year Residential Assistant, Presidential Fellow for The Center for the Study of The Presidency and Congress. What I love most about Trinity: Trinity is an amazing place; there are many aspects, which I find particularly appealing but overall I love that faculty here have such a bond with their students. Not many colleges can boast that their professors know each students name and interests off the top of their head. And not many professors would invite a student or class off campus for dinner or an event. At Trinity they do. Teachers become more than simply directors of a class—they become mentors, friends and a support structure. That is a quality that I only found at Trinity. I decided to visit to see if my gut feeling could be confirmed. At the time, I was considering the Engineering major and mentioned it to an associate at the Admissions Office. Moments later, the head of the engineering department was contacted so that I could learn about Trinity’s Engineering Department. Trinity cared about my needs as a prospective student, and that’s how I knew Trinity was the place for me; it is a college that puts its students first. Extracurricular activities: Women and Gender Resource Action Center, Promoting Respect for Inclusive Diversity in Education (P.R.I.D.E) Leader, Trinity College Campus Climate Committee, Austin Arts Center House Management Assistant. What I love most about Trinity: Honestly, I don’t think that I would be able to choose just one thing that I love about the school. I love the inclusive vide that I get on campus; everyone is accepted here. I love that there are so many opportunities to get involved with the college and the Hartford community; there are too many organizations to choose from. I also love that the school has so many resources available for its students, both academic and personal. Growing up in New York City, I knew I wanted a school that had a beautiful campus and a lot of school spirit. Trinity has all of that while still being in Hartford, so students are able to go off campus and take advantage of what the city has to offer. Another reason I choose Trinity was because of its strong Art History department. Our campus is centrally located between Boston and New York, so some of the best museums in the northeast are only a train ride away. Trinity’s professors will sit and talk to you about your major even if they are not your advisor, offer you chocolate before a midterm and invite you to special event dinners. I love that the professors are so friendly and really love what they do. They are always willing to help and will always smile at you in passing. I love the faculty’s dedication here at Trinity College. Professional goals/career plans: I am undecided right now but will definitely be going to graduate school.

Marta Zamroziewicz Poplar Grove, Illinois Class of 2013 Marta.Zamroziewicz@trincoll.edu	High school: North Boone High School Major: Neuroscience (intended) Minor: Undecided Favorite class taken at Trinity: Psychology 101 (thus far) Favorite professor at Trinity: Professor Janet Morrison (thus far) Why I chose Trinity: After applying to 20institutions nationwide and visiting eight of them, I realized that Trinity was "it." Trinity's emphasis on personal attention through its dedicated staff and small class sizes was a particularly important factor in my decision. Also, Trinity's opportunities in the sciences, such as unlimited research opportunities both on and off campus, internship availability at top notch medical facilities just off campus, as well as an impressive medical school preparation program caught my attention. I must also admit that Trinity's beautiful and particularly cohesive campus was certainly not a detriment either. Extracurricular activities: Secretary of the American Medical Student Association, M.D. Fox Elementary School mentoring, Cognitive Neuroscience Research, Trinity Sailing Team, ConnPIRG, Praxis What I love most about Trinity: The dynamic yet close-knit campus, challenging courses, and motivated student body. Professional goals/career plans: After Trinity, I intend to attend medical school and eventually obtain the occupation of a psychiatrist.
