Trinity's tour guides are a group of highly motivated students who are selected to represent the College.  We are very proud of our tour guides and have used the page below to expand on their talents, interests, and involvement here at Trinity.

Favorite professors at Trinity: Professor Daniel Blackburn and Professor Alison Draper 
Why I chose Trinity:  I chose Trinity because of the rigorous science program and the tremendous opportunities available to first years in the sciences. For example, the opportunities for research really impressed me. Also I chose Trinity because it’s a small college and I really value personal attention in my college experience. 
Extracurricular activities:  F.I.S.T, M.O.C.A, Club lax, Trinity College Boys and Girls club, and Biology club
What I love most about Trinity: That’s an easy question for me to answer: the people! Trinity students are by far some of the most interesting people around, and I really love getting to know my peers. 
Professional goals/career plans:  After I graduate from Trinity, I hope to pursue a graduate degree. I’d love to get either an MD or an MBA.

Why I chose Trinity:  I was looking for small class sizes and a variety of courses available out of my majors. I also sought out an urban environment, but one that still provides the intimacy of a campus. Trinity seemed to offer all the things I was looking for in a school.
Extracurricular activities: Women’s Rowing, Slate Literary Magazine
What I love most about Trinity: I love that the Trinity community, made of students and faculty and staff, is so tight-knit.
Professional goals/career plans:  I’d like to professionally write in some outlet, and potentially attend graduate school.

Why I chose Trinity: I knew Trinity was the place for me the moment I first arrived on campus. Its small size, beautiful setting, and high academic standing among other liberal arts colleges were all selling points for me.
Extracurricular activities: Student Government, Career Development, Chapel Singers, St. Anthony Hall
What I love most about Trinity: I love that Trinity is a city school that still has a beautiful campus setting. Its location offers an endless amount of activities both on and off-campus, and its small size fosters intimate relationships between fellow students, professors, and other members of the faculty.
Professional goals/career plans: I hope to go into wealth management or private equity.​

Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because it truly encompasses a liberal arts experience. It is a unique environment in which students are able to balance their academics, extracurricular activities, and social lives. The small class sizes and exceptional professors foster a personalized learning experience. Trinity’s location in Hartford also provides many opportunities for internships and community involvement.
Extracurricular activities: I am a member of the women’s varsity soccer and lacrosse teams, work on campus for the Departments of Sports Communications and Advancement, and conduct senior exit surveys as a Research Interviewer for the Office of Institutional Research.
What I love most about Trinity: I love having the freedom to take a wide range of courses and explore my interests in different areas of study. I have formed strong relationships with professors who truly care about  my academic work and growth. Being a part of two sports teams has been especially meaningful to me. It has helped me meet many new people and learn how to manage my time. Additionally, Trinity’s beautiful campus fosters a close-knit community. 
Professional goals/career plans: I am still discovering what I am passionate about, but after graduation from Trinity I plan to attend law school and pursue a career in law or finance.

Why I chose Trinity: One of the many features that I found compelling about Trinity was the small class size and student body population. Having graduated from a very small high school, I was looking for personal attention in class, helpful professors, and an academically-stimulating environment. A visit in the spring only convinced me further; Trinity’s campus in full bloom was absolutely stunning.
Extracurricular activities: PRAXIS, Office of Advancement and Communications, Little Sister/Big Sister Mentoring Program
What I love most about Trinity: The small class size and friendly professors. Trinity provides countless options to get involved on campus and to explore interests you never thought you had before.
Professional goals/career plans: My goal is to get involved with the hospitality industry. Specifically, I would love to work in hotel and restaurant management.

Why I chose Trinity: I knew of Trinity’s reputation for a stellar educational experience coupled with a culture of active student life, both of which I wanted to be a part of. Going to a small liberal arts college in a city was also unique, and everything about the school made it feel like home.
Extracurricular activities: Trinity College Mock Trial Team, Trinity College Hillel
What I love most about Trinity: The phenomenal professors are responsible for much of my academic growth in college. Ranging from published authors to seasoned public advocates, federal judges to executive economic advisors, I have learned so much from these teachers. Getting to know my professors outside of the classroom has made them role models to me.
Professional goals/career plans: I hope to work inside or with government on one of the policy issues that I am most passionate about.

Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because I sought a small liberal arts college where I could pursue several of my interests simultaneously, while also allowing myself time to discover what it is that truly interests me. Also, being in a major city and the capital of the state of Connecticut, Trinity can offer unique opportunities to its students, in many fields, that would otherwise not be possible.
Extracurricular activities: Honor Council, Men’s Club Ice Hockey, Trinity College Golf Club, Relay for Life
What I love most about Trinity: I love that Trinity can offer all the benefits of a large school, while also providing its students with a tight knit community, small class size, and close relationships with professors
Professional goals/career plans: I hope to attend medical school and earn an MD after graduating from Trinity.

Why I chose Trinity: I appreciated the fact that Trinity’s professors know their students and truly care about their education.

What I love most about Trinity: I love Trinity’s community. I feel like the campus community is small enough that I’m always running into people I know, but big enough that I’m always meeting new and interesting people.
Professional goals/career plans: After I graduate, I hope to continue toward my goal of becoming a Supreme Court Justice.

Why I chose Trinity: The beautiful campus felt like the perfect place to spend four years. I was impressed by the many different academic programs offered in addition to a wide range of extracurricular activities.  Trinity also has a large study abroad program, which is something that was important to me.
Extracurricular activities: Trinity College Trinitones (all-female a cappella group), Theater and Dance Department productions, Newman Club
What I love most about Trinity: The community at Trinity is unlike that of any other school. There is a solidarity among Trinity students that creates a wonderful atmosphere. Trinity students are involved with the school both on and off campus.  The size of the school is perfect because you can create meaningful relationships with students and professors while still meeting new people.
Professional goals/career plans: I would like to pursue a career in marketing, public relations, or communications.

Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because it embodied all of the qualities I was looking for in a college. I was unsure of what I would major in, so I knew that I wanted a small, liberal arts school. I was also drawn to Trinity’s sense of community and the unlimited number of ways for students to get involved both on campus and in Hartford.
Extracurricular activities: Student Government Association, Trinity College Running Club, Trinity College Boxing Club, Hall Council
What I love most about Trinity: What I love most about Trinity are the opportunities it gives to students. There are so many different courses to take and ways to get involved.
Professional goals/career plans: I still haven’t decided my major, but think it would be interesting to do research on Alzheimer’s disease.

Why I chose Trinity: I chose Trinity because I knew I wanted to go to a small liberal arts college with an excellent reputation; Trinity fit that description perfectly. I wanted to go to a school where I could become very involved in a variety of extracurricular activities, and form close bonds with my professors and peers, and that is exactly what Trinity has done for me.

What I love most about Trinity: I love that Trinity has a very tight-knit community that makes you feel comfortable and right at home. I love being able to say “hi” to my friends as I walk down the Long Walk.  I think it makes for a wonderful college experience.
Professional goals/career plans: I hope to go right into the workforce after college. After I have worked for a little while, I hope to attend business school so that I can enter the marketing or advertising industry.

Why I chose Trinity: Actually, I chose Trinity because of the tour guide I had. She had great enthusiasm and love for the school, which I wanted to experience. I love Trinity’s small student body because it allows me to connect on a deeper level with fellow classmates and even my professors.

What I love most about Trinity: I love the size of Trinity and how I am not just “a number” to my professors. My professors personally know their students and vice versa. I really love Trinity and could not imagine attending another school.
Professional goals/career plans: I plan on moving into New York City and becoming a fashion editor.
