INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: STUDENT VISAS

  • An I-20 (required for application for the F-1 student visa) will only be issued to admitted, enrolling students.
  • Typically, I-20's are mailed to international students in early June.
  • It is recommended that you apply for a student visa immediately after you have received your I-20 form from the College, as occasionally there are delays at local consular offices.

Please note that there is a $200 SEVIS fee for all student visa applicants, which must be paid prior to the visa interview. There is an additional visa processing fee, and the amount varies by country. Students should contact their local U.S. consulate for details.

Engineering and Math

Co-founder of T-READY, I-House board member, senior resident assistant

Engineering is what I’ve always wanted to do. I chose Trinity because it was the right mix of academics: a specialized engineering program coupled with the flexibility of a liberal arts program. At home, I would never have had the opportunity to explore philosophy or economics while focusing on my major. Science can be highly specialized, and the liberal arts help me see the greater picture. They remind me why I set out to be an engineer, which is to better people’s lives.
