Application Process

Trinity College accepts The Common Application exclusively, which is available online at The Common Application, in high school college counseling/guidance offices, and is mailed to all prospective students on our mailing list.  Your $60 application fee may be submitted by credit card online or you may mail a check, payable to "Trustees of Trinity College", directly to the Trinity College Admissions Office at 300 Summit Street, Hartford, CT, 06106. 

All students who are applying for admission must also submit the Trinity College Supplement to the Common Application.  A printable supplement is available by clicking on the highlighted link or online at The Common Application.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

All materials, including testing, should be received by the dates listed below. If you have any concerns about meeting these deadlines, please contact the Admissions Office at (860) 297-2180.

Early Decision Option 1: All application materials (except the mid-year secondary school report) must be received no later than November 15. Candidates will be notified of admission decisions by mid-December.

Early Decision Option 2: All application materials must be received no later than January 1. Candidates will be notified of admission decisions by mid-February.

Regular Decision: The application must be received by January 1.  All supporting materials, including available senior work, should be sent as soon as possible (no later than January 15).  Please make arrangements with your counselor to have this sent to us.  Candidates will be notified of admission decisions by early April.
