Agave is a restaurant located on Asylum Street in downtown Hartford. Agave serves authentic Mexican food and is a favorite to many students who consider themselves foodies.
 
Vito’s by the Park is an Italian restaurant located on Trumbull Street, across the street from Bushnell Park.
 
Vaughn's Public House is an Irish themed bar featuring premium Irish ales as well as Irish entrees.
 
City Steam is a 9-level bar located in downtown Hartford which features an extensive list of locally brewed beers and cocktails. City Steam has an arcade on the first floor which includes a set of pool tables, an air hockey table, and a basketball shot arcade. City Steam also features stand-up comedy shows on select evenings.
 
Black Eyed Sally's is an award-winning southern BBQ restaurant located in downtown Hartford. Black Eyed Sally’s features a live jazz band almost every night during dinner time.
 
Hot Pots is a soul food restaurant located in the North End of Hartford. Hot Pots is a favorite among Hartford residents.
 
Jamskees Caribbean restaurant specializes in Jamaican cuisine and features island classics such as rice and peas and oxtail. Jasmskee’s is located right off of Hartford’s Albany Avenue.
 
El Serape features authentic, more traditional Mexican food and is located within walking distance of Trinity’s campus.
 
Piolin, located on New Britain Avenue, is less than five minutes away from campus. Piolin features freshly made Peruvian entrees and drinks. It’s a Bantam favorite.
 
Tisane is a casual, trendy restaurant located in Hartford’s West End which features live music and delicious tea blends as well as Euro-Asian cuisine.
 
Salute features fantastic Italian cuisine (Trinity students often order their specialty pizzas!) Salute is also located right across the street from Bushnell Park.
 
There are two locations for this great café, one at the Hartford Public Library and the other next to their restaurant, Firebox, on Broad Street. The Kitchen brings together employment, education, access to healthy eating options, and a connection to the environment using hands-on training, community interactions, and a shared love for food.
