Graduate Students: How to Apply

Timing is critical in the financial aid process. Trinity will meet the calculated need of all financial aid applicants whose files are complete by the deadline.

Please review the following instructions carefully. Your application for financial aid cannot be reviewed until the Financial Aid Office receives all required documents.

Federal regulations require all aid applicants to complete the entire application process, even those requesting only federal student loans.

For fall applicants, financial aid is awarded for both the Fall and Spring Semesters

Please mail the following to the Financial Aid Office by December 15 for new spring starts and May 1 for fall starts:

  • Graduate Application for Financial Aid
  • Signed copy of student’s current federal tax return including all schedules
  • All copies of student’s current year's W-2s
  • Signed copy of spouse’s current federal tax return (if applicable)
  • All copies of spouse’s current year's W-2s (if applicable)

Please complete FAFSA online by April 15 for fall applications and November 15 for spring applications.

  • Trinity’s Title IV code is 001414

Your FAFSA must be submitted by April 15 to meet the May 1 deadline.
