Eligible students have a work component as part of the financial aid package, and the amount is directly tied to the estimated $1,800 cost of books and personal expenses. Students are not required to work, but if you do not the College will not replace this portion of your aid. The recommended job at the beginning pay rate would assume approximately 8.5 hours of work per week. Student accounts are not credited with the amount offered as work-study; instead, students are paid every two weeks for the hours worked.
