Admissions

Trinity selects candidates who will explore the breadth and depth of its academic programs, take advantage of its urban location, and contribute positively to the College community. As a top-ranked, small liberal arts college, Trinity has a tradition of excellence in academics and extracurricular pursuits, and seeks students with diverse interests and leadership abilities to bring vibrancy to the campus life.

The freshman class is limited to about 575 men and women, and is drawn from a careful review of more than 5,000 individually considered applications each year. Trinity looks for the personal strengths and qualities that distinguish a student from other candidates. Students who fit in well at Trinity are those who come here with the potential and the motivation to succeed in a rigorous academic environment.

For prospective students, the best way to determine if Trinity is a good fit is to visit the College. Taking a tour of the campus, talking with students and faculty, attending classes, and checking out favorite student hangouts are good ways to decide whether to apply to Trinity. The College looks forward to welcoming prospective students to visit Trinity's beautiful campus and experience the academic environment first-hand.
